What have we gotten ourselves into?

The Incline

We met up with Kim and her boyfriend to do the Incline in C Springs. In all the years i lived there I had never done it before...maybe because it can almost kill you. You practically climb up 2000 feet strait up a mountain. so we went from over 6000 ft above sea level to over 8000 ft...we live at like 150. My lungs were hurting and my legs felt like jello but we finished it in an hour 10. Kim was such a great friend and stayed with me. The guys obviously finished before us. I was sore for a few many days but it felt great to accomplish it and get to the top and now say I've done it!

Quality time with Meg (at PDX)

Medford family time

We just so enjoyed the peaceful and loving Buchta house. We were in love with the weather the whole time but most of thoroughly enjoyed our company with family and a few close friends...what can I say, missing the Northwest.

Ellie's first fourth

Buchta 4th of July

It was a beautiful day in the valley and we were so grateful to be with friends and family on the fourth. We went to the Campbell family BBQ and ate really great food and played ping pong and some corn in the hole family game. Unfortunately we weren't able to see fireworks becasue the show started much later then Eliie's bedtime...next year.

A Medford Wedding

Vacation

Well it all started with our drive to Atlanta where we stayed the night to catch an early flight to San Francisco then a drive north to stay in Red Bluff then another drive north to Medford. Ellie was quite the traveler but as she has become more mobilized she gets restless and bored and wants to roll around on the floor and scoot and crawl and put EVERYTHING in her mouth. Entertaining a baby in the car for three hours gets horribly exhausting. We enjoyed the weather and family and old friends and organic food and of course Dutch Bros.

Here she comes!

All of a sudden she rolls all over the place and rocks on all fours and now crawls backwards too. Now that she can do this she does it in her sleep too. It's like she does flips and summersaults all night long.

Lazy summer

Hardly a lazy summer...wait until you see the pictures of where we've been all summer and what we've been up to. It's practically almost over.
