She's a movin'
She's still not walking by herself but she loves her push toy and crashing them into the walls. She pushes it all over the house into her room and the bathroom and the kitchen and the living room. It's building her confidence to soon walk on her own (hopefully soon...she weighs almost 25 lbs!). Ellie's always been a few months beghind on her milestones so we're not worried. All of a sudden she'll get up and start walking like she'd done it a million times.
We got a Bob!
Ben finally let me get this stroller. I have been running on and off the past few months and since Ben is gone now I needed something to take Ellie with me. The "Bob Revolution" was the only one for us. Ellie loves it! We go on a run every afternoon after she wakes up from her nap and 3 miles later not much of a peep from her at all! It

Shootin'
So Ben wanted to take me shooting before he left. It's kind of a tradition we've started before he leaves. We went with some friends on a river in no where Georgia. I got to shoot all of Ben's guns and learn how to load and reload and aim and shoot and all of that! It was awesome and I definitely feel more confident if God forbid the situation would ever arise where I would need this skill.

Thanksgiving (a little early this year)

We decided to have a big thanksgiving at our house early this year since Ben won't be around for the holidays. We had about 14 people over with their families and it was such great fellowship. I roasted a turkey and made some fun cocktails and desserts and side dishes (I'm getting tired remembering it all)and favors and appetizers. Uuuugghhhhh, Jess and I slaved in the kitchen non-stop for two straight days! One of the guys brought two turkeys that we fried, which was a new thing to us. We pretty much haven't cooked since then (we've been living off of left overs). It was so great though and it really felt like Thanksgiving.
