Potty time

...Well kind of. I got her a potty to sit on when I we go to the bathroom. She mimics everything i do. Except that after she "wipes" (usually with clothes on) she then wipes her nose and throws it in the trash can! Ha Ha Ha! We usually let her run around naked right before a bath and she always ends up peeing on the floor so now we're trying to get her to hang out on the potty. She has peed twice in there! We of course dance around and yell and shout when she does it. Otherwise she's been caught putting things in there and sitting on it reading a magazine with dad! Still a work in progress

Baby Number 2!

The ultra sound pic is 9 weeks and 3 days and my "belly" and man is it a belly already, is just shy of 14 weeks. Super pumped to be on my way out of the yucky first trimester!

Our little shopper

Hand me downs

In this picture she's wearing a shirt of mine that I wore when i was little. It's about bursting at the buttons but i just so love putting it on her...she looks so sweet.

Ben's 28

Daddy sold his bike:(

Ben has had his bike for sale for awhile now and finally one of his friends form work bought it! He paid cash for it and we owned the bike so we're rich! HA HA just kidding. We threw at our second mortgage that we're going crazy at trying to pay off before we leave here...2 years left here:)

4th of July

We actually missed fireworks! We had been mixing milk with Ell's almond milk and she was responding quite well so i was thinking it might be ok if i slipped her a few bites of ice cream...she broke out in hives and her face swelled up and she puked everywhere. In a flash we were in the car with benadryl in hand and on our way to ER. Super suck. She was given a steroid for swelling and was back to herself within hours. Super scary though. We hardly recognized her.

Summer fun!

Blueberry picking is a favorite past time here in the summer. It's 8 bucks for a gallon which with two people takes almost an hour to pick and Ellie is usually done with a full tummy of blueberries after about 15 mins. We usually end up slowly dumping her water on her head to cool her off and she will trip over a ditch here and there and get so upset...but it's still worth it!

We have been so busy this summer. Immediately after we got back from CO Ben was of to NC for two weeks for training for his next deployment and i was home with the Ellster...deathly ill. I thought it might be the end of me. I had a sinus infection and fever and allergies and new pregnancy sickness all at once. By myself. Luckily i have wonderful friends here who helped me out with Ell. Then it was 4th of July and then Ben's birthday and then now block leave before he deploys again!
